Your data trains your model. Nothing else.

What we store

Yachay stores the training dataset you upload, the resulting model adapter or merged weights, and operational metadata (job configuration, runtime, cost) needed to bill you and surface history in your dashboard.

What we do with it

• Run your fine-tuning job on Google Cloud Vertex AI Tuning, isolated to your job’s ephemeral container.
• Stage the resulting weights to a Google Cloud Storage bucket that only you (via signed URLs) can read.
• Charge your invoice via Stripe using the customer record associated with your Condor umbrella account.

What we don’t do

• We never use your dataset or your tuned weights to train any other model, ours or anyone else’s.
• We never share your data with the model authors (Meta, Mistral, etc.). License compliance happens at the binary level only.
• We never sell your data, syndicate it, or expose it to third-party advertisers or analytics platforms.

Retention

Tuned adapters and the training dataset that produced them are stored together under a per-job prefix in Google Cloud Storage. Retention depends on the terminal status of the job:

• Completed — 30 days from finalize, extendable.
• Cancelled — 24-hour grace, then purged. The dataset is kept briefly so support can pull it for forensics if the cancel was unintentional.
• Failed — 24-hour grace, then purged. No adapter exists; the dataset that triggered the failure is kept briefly for the same forensic reason.

In every case the sweep deletes every byte under the job prefix — we do not move to a colder tier, we delete.

You can extend retention from the job’s dashboard page for $0.06/GB-month + a $0.50 handling fee per extension, up to a maximum of 24months total. At that hard ceiling the bytes are deleted regardless. There is no Coldline archive tier and no “held forever” option.

For legal hold or audit needs beyond 24 months, email hello@condorbox.ai before the ceiling — we can export the bytes to a customer- controlled bucket but we will not keep them in ours.

Account deletion

Deleting your Condor umbrella account triggers a cascading delete of all Yachay data — datasets, adapters, job history, billing records (retained only as required by tax law). The deletion cascade is permanent and irreversible.

Subprocessors

• Google Cloud Platform — compute, storage, Vertex AI Tuning.
• Stripe — payment processing and invoice delivery.
• Firebase Authentication (Google Cloud) — sign-in identity.

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or session replay tools on Yachay.
